Ildhammare

Magic is a very touchy subject among the Væringjar, and none tolerate magi (or even magae). To use magic is to bring death upon oneself, unless one is of the Æsir. The use of magical weapons is a greyer area. The Ildhammare are the few to brave using such weapons, hammers made from a magic-imbued metal so volatile, it takes a single spark to ignite. The metal burns for only a short time, enough for a single blow, but can still be used normally when not ignited.
