Battle Thrall

Xenoi society is matriarchal: males serve only in supporting roles and are viewed by women as being only slightly more than slaves. In battle, the women lead with their superior magic, knowledge and armaments, slaughtering foes mercilessly, while men are thrown to their deaths at superior enemies to slow the enemy front line. Uneducated and poorly-equipped, they live short, painful lives, but willingly die for their mates and for the twin goddesses Maeveti and Naarae.

To lengthen their short lifespans, these men have adapted their fighting abilities to the kinds of close-quarters fighting that happens in caves, relying on the smaller, wider, more defensive apa rather than the longswords used by their surface cousins. They also learn to mimic the spells of their women slave mistresses, able to damage their foes from long range, albiet not as effectively as Xenoi women.

Special Notes: This unit has magical attacks, which always have a high chance of hitting an opponent. This unit’s arcane attack deals tremendous damage to magical creatures, and even some to mundane creatures.
