Bowstrings can produce melodic sounds, especially if crafted in a certain way. Combined with right tuning and Fey affinity for magic it can imbue an arrow with magical power, but without careful and complicated tuning this power can backfire. Specially designed bows can be used to contain and master this power. These bows are outfitted with additional bowstrings of different lengths, designed solely to produce sounds of different pitch. Shorter bows are used to carry more than one of them with relative comfort, each bow tuned for melody of its own element. In times of peace these bows can also be used as full-fledged musical instruments.
