Bandages are used by some Thanats for preservation of their cadaverous shells as well as containment of their innate arcane powers. Latter effect can be amplified by excessive bondage to the point of keeping all of one's arcane power under the wraps, both literally and figuratively. This allows to fortify one's corporeal vessel and deliver concentrated arcane strikes, but blocks any possibility to restore bodies of others. Fortification of the corpse is focused on bandages rather than the flesh itself which is merely preserved. Outer layers of abundant bondages can also be loosened and employed to restrain an opponent in close combat.

Note: this unit is ''leader'' - it cannot be recruited and if it dies then its owner is considered to be defeated.

Note: this unit is ''unliving'' (has fixed trait named ''unliving'') - it cannot be poisoned, when it is recalled its hitpoints are set to 20 and it can heal from ''healing places'' only when also eligible for rest-healing or under effect of ''siccates'' ability of allied unit
