Gargoyles that follow an uncommon path of light back-curved sword sometimes develop a skill to unleash their natural impulsiveness selectively. It allows them to focus on their chosen target in melee. Increased self-control also allows to release their inner flame without eschewing defense while doing so. They are still fairly easy to hit - when their opponent manages to survive long enough to strike back.
