Jephrif Shanker

The long jephrif tendrils can be used for more than just lashing and fine manipulation - a technique used by jephrifs whose tendrils have grown strong with use is to turn them more rigid so that a forceful thrust has the effect of a pike or similar human weapon. More experience with moving their bodies in combat also leads Shankers to transition from single, strong lashes to quicker whirling motions, striking with the tips of their hardened tendrils, as well as helping them be more elusive targets.
