Black Bear

Black bears are more in tune with the Ancestors than most other bears, and show a weak form of their power. They are the intermediate between spirit bears and common bears. If a hunter wounds a black bear and goes back for help to finish it, sometimes the bear will seem magically healed. The reason is unknown to humans, but the Ancestors' power gives black bears the power to rejuvinate.
